Most fireplace shops sell cans of spray paint which you can use to re-spray your fake coals back to black - is that what you mean?
If you mean the fire surround, use heat resistant enamel. I painted a brown electric fire black with this and it worked a treat.
you need hamerite high heat paint,resists heat up to 600:C.for fire surrounds.
