Hello

We are looking to get the following work done on our bathroom:

Removal of old bathroom suite
Installation of new suite
Removal of all tiles
Plaster ceiling and fit new light
Install new towel radiator and chase pipe work into floor
Tile floor
Fit new shower screen
Install new fixtures and fittings
Tile walls all the way around bath and about half way up other wall
Plaster walls where old tiles had been and are not being replaced
Removal of all rubbish

One quote is 3689 + VAT
The other is 1480 (doesn't say if it includes VAT or not)

We intend to supply our own materials (bath suite, towel rail, tiles etc)

As one is less than half the cost of the other, I was just wondering which one is nearer the mark? Should we be worried about the cheap quote?! We are in south-east London.

Thanks!

I'd get a third quote to make sure but as a guide, had an estimate for a similar job on a bathroom 2m square at 8500 incl vat and supply of bath toilet basin heated towel rail.
Hi Karen...........the lower quote would be ridiculous here in Devon - never mind SE London..The other one sounds good - especially considering where you live :o)))
