Leave them to die down naturally. After the frosts are over you can plant them outside in a sheltered place & with any luck they'll flower again next year & for a few years to come. (I'm assuming you have a garden)
I have some potted hyacinths and miniature daffodils, which are now just coming into their third year. Still in the same pots, with only a bit of added top dressing. I don't cut the stalks off, I just put them outside on the patio against a wall, fpr a bit of protection. The leaves and stalks will just die off naturally. They get sufficient water from the rain, and only give them a drop of water if they dry out in the summer when the weather is quite warm. This winter they have been out through all the frost and are OK. The Hyacinths are just beginning to bud, and the min daffs have leaves about 5" tall. I shall bring them indoors this week. If you prefer you can pop the pots outside until the leaves and stalks die down, and then in the Spring, you can plant them out in the garden. This also works well. I'm pleased to have kept them for 3 years, and shall try them again next year. Hope you are successful, it would be nice if sometime you could let me know how you went on. Regards. Schutz.
