I have recently installed an electric shower that runs from a cold-water feed only. During the day the shower is fine but in the mornings - presumably when everyone else in the area is getting ready for work - the mains pressure drops. Although on its minimum temperature setting there seems to be plenty of water getting though, as soon as I turn up the heat dial so little water comes through that the shower refuses to heat it ... or vaporises it all to steam! So two choices - scolding with no power or some power but stone-cold.
Can anyboby tell me if a pump would help? All the information I have read from the internet seems to suggest that a pump will only be any good if used between a cold tank and the shower ... but my feed is directly from the mains. Would I be wasting my time?
Any help greatly appreciated!
