I have a Glow-Warm Hide Away central heating boiler (with normal chimney outlet). It has been working successfully; however tonight I found that it was no longer functioning. I have checked that the pilot light is alight and that all settings are as expected. I am assuming the electrical supply is satisfactory since the pilot light is OK. I have even turned everything off and re-ignited the pilot but still no joy. Any thoughts about what else I should check for ?

sounds like your problam is is an electrical fault, pilot dos-not require power to stay alight, check that timer is sending power to boiler, check that boiler stat is working, if power supply to boiler o/k, test for power to gas valve, if power to valve  o/k replace valve.

If you still have open flue boiler advise you think about replaceing with new high efficiency boiler this could save you upto 35% on your gas bills, contact your local corgi installer for information, new laws starting next april about boiler replacement
