leaf disease??

I'm not gardener! (this will become apparent.)

I have a dwarf nectarine tree in a large patio pot. it's 2 years old and the some of the green leaves are turning red and shrivelling. they don't look well. it hasn't borne any fruit but I assume it is too young.

should I chop them off? or cut all the branches right back as a precaution? any advice appreciated.

Are the leaves developing blisters?

no, they just are wrinkling up and turning red.. lovely colour but it doesn't look healthy!

its cold damage. New leaves will soon replace the damaged ones as weather warms. Dont cut any of it & dont over water.....let it dry, then soak.

To avoid same damage again - it would need to be protected by bubble-wrapped around against our winters.

thanks Tambo.. but I thought it was quite mild since the leaves have appeared. it's been a mild week but more leaves seem to be turning red.

and I watered it today.. oops!
