Continued problem
1 Answers
This is an ongoing problem. My neighbour has had a single story extention built to the rear of our property.Started June 08.She has problems with the builder to return and skim and spar the one remaining wall, the one that borders my property.he hasnt been back since before xmas.I have cleaned up his rubble left on my side, and have after waiting 4 months sealed the opening in our fence left for him to gain access, and have replanted flowers/seeds etc.
I was approaced by her father inlaw last week.He tells me they are going to employ another person to complete the skimming/sparing on bank holiday Monday. Reluctantly I said it was OK.Re arranged my day and stayed in till 12:30,no one turned up, and no explaination.Should I/am I within the law to deny access.I am fed up with being messed about.

Write giving them access but if they don't turn up to do the work then they have to pay you compensation, perhaps a days lost pay or something. Also to make good any damage they do to your plants etc. Take pictures before and after etc.
