when i pull the toilet fush a loud droning noise vibrates the house

how can i stop this happening

could it be dangerous ie lead to burst pip

Nothing to worry about, we had what sounded like an orchestra a while ago with every flush. A plummer told us it's called 'valve bounce' or something like that - it's the ballcock vibrating when a bit of dirt gets caught in the valve.
Cetti you answer has saved me from posting a similar question!! Thanks alot. A phone call to the plumbers 1st thing tomorrow is in order!
when i had it i was told it was air in the pipes. can't trust a plumber :)
Isn't it a joy at night....just like a lullaby :-D
to those who are thinking of calling a plumber,its probably cheaper to go and buy a new valve &ballcock at any diy store
