I have purchased some garden moulds for making paving slabs and balustrades. Could anyone please tell me what mix of concrete, sand and aggregate I need. (especially the balustrade mix)
Any other tips?
Many thanks,

The standard answer is 1-2-3... 1 cement, 2 sand and 3 gravel. But, if you're mixing it yourself and have to obtain the ingredients from a DIY source why don't you just buy Quick-crete? At least that's the brand name here in the U.S. It's bagged cement, sand and gravel... just mix in the water. It comes in differeing ratios if you need a special application and is quite inexpensive... Best of luck!

Thanks.
Im mixing it myself
Clanad - over here, it would be an incredibly costly way of buying concrete. It is only sold in bags like this in UK DIY stores. No builders' merchants would dream of stocking such stuff.
OK for a tiny repair perhaps, but nothing else.
