Does anyone know of an indoor plant that will survive in a shady position?

Preferably not too large as it is for my kitchen.

Thanks in advance.

Try a Cheese plant, they grow in the deep shade of jungle terrain so love the shade.
There are many "indoor" or what we class as houseplants, and old favourite is Mother in Law's Tongue, some nice variagated varieties too.
