zig.zag As mentioned we have an old one and it has served us well for many years, so it`s out with the old etc, etc.
I have to say -In days gone by when I used to 'hoover' for my Mam- it was dead easy to empty the paper bag with all the dust contained......What have we now? Bagless everything--Have you tried to empty one on a breezy day outside?- (God help those who live at the top of a multi-storey) You better get goggles and a breathing mask!! -Oh- and you will need a good stiff handbrush and a solid five minutes to half-clean the filter!!!!!!!!!!

As pre-mentioned Matheous, I have had one for many years so I do realise they are a pain to empty and clean the filters on a windy day, one tends to get it blown in the face if you do it in the wrong direction to the wind, but one must allow for that, but they do do a good job.
