Yep,i suffered from backache most mornings until i got one.
Your weight determines how many inches you need.Apparently,i'm a 2inch kinda gal.lol

Thanks for the answers, im a bit concerned that they hold in the heat, and as I am a woman of a cerain age I really dont need the extra warmth.....

I was thinking of buying one , and my friends daughter got one
and said it wasn't any hotter than a ordinary mattress , but the
base has to suit the mattress ..

I've got them on all my beds but one and I think they do retain the heat. They are good for your back though but I can't do the heat even if I have the windows opena nd a fan on.I have the same problem as you tillyh345.

I`ve recently bought the Dorlux Cool Plus. It`s brilliant & does not make you all hot. Being "of a certain age" I wanted one that kept you cool & it does. I`ve had better sleep than I`ve had for years & dont wake up all achy.

i have one and have recently got my parents to get one they are very good but do be advised you will have a fight with the pillow each morning.
