Hello, I am installing two electric towel radiators in a bathroom.

I am installing them on a timed circuit.

But I have a question about what I can install where:

- am I allowed to have a fused (non-swithed) spur in the bathroom to feed the rads?

The timer will be switched, and placed outside the bathroom......

Is there anything that contravenes current regulations?

Thanks

Not a problem, as long as the spur/s are in Zone 3. And you don't need any qualifications to do the work. For zoning, see...

I would also make sure they are on an RCD, as all equipment in the bathroom has to be on an RCD including the lighting as per the new BS7671 wiring regs to the 17th edition....
