removal of excess No More Nails glue from wooden door

we put a sign on front wooden door with No More Nails..sign slipped down leaving glue down the door...is there any way to remove this glue residue.

No more nails is pretty good stuff, and I think you will need to sand the door down to it's original surface wherever the adhesive has smeared...
It will probably involve re-finishing (paint or varnish) the whole surface of the door...
