Brown patches on new lawn

I had a new lawn laid last November and due to leaf's from next doors trees covering sections of the area I am left with brown patches all over.
Will the grass grow back in the spring/summer?

In March/ April scratch the surface to loosen the soil slightly and sprinkle a little lawn seed over dried patches.

If you have had a fine grass turf laid make sure you overseed with a similar type of grass.
