Will my cat adapt to using his catflap again once back from the cattery?

I am going to put my two one year old cats into a cattery for the first time whilst we go on holiday for two weeks.

They are fully trained and go outside via a cat flap to go to the toilet, I assume whilst in the cattery they will be using a litter tray.

Will they easily adapt back to going through their cat flap to do their business once they come home? They have only been completely litter tray free for about three months.

We have an old cat who needs a litter tray again.its been 17years since she last had one yet as soon as we put it down she remembered what it was for. I doubt your cat will forget to go outside when hes home

i agree with samuelcat. my cat pops off to the cattery for a couple of weeks of litter tray and has no problem coming home and doing the doody outside via the cat flap.

Alternatively, they could decide to just poo inside where they like to get their own back for you putting them in the cattery.
