Just wanted to say you had some helpful advice a few months ago about jack russells. I went ahead and got Geoff and he's been an absolute pleasure (apart from the chewing, weeing and cat mauling!)
But seriously, he's lovely, eager to learn,makes us laugh all the time and he's even won over my kids who were not too happy about having a smelly dog about the place!

That's great news, Jack Russells really are great characters, just don't let him get away with anything, he will rule you if he gets the chance lol. be firm not hard, he will be a very loyal companion for you and you kids will become very attached indeed.

Can I butt in here. I love Jack Russells. They are so intelligent. My little dog is a JR cross but she has a lot of JR about her. They are so entertaining and so bright - bags of energy, but easy to train. However, they do need a firm hand and need to know who is boss. Not a dog for those who just want a nice quiet life!! I think they are really my favourite breed. They have so much character.

I remember Meggie chewing when we first got her. She also bit all the noses of the soft toys!!

P.S. Each year we seem to gain a resident pheasant. They are all called Geoff!!
