Bosch washing machine playing up
3 Answers
My Bosch washing machine (purchased about 1999) has started to skip parts of the programme if it feels like it (not all the time). Last night it refused to do a short spin it just clicked straight past it to the finish. However it would do a long spin on a different cycle. Is this likely to be costly to get fixed or, bearing in mind it is 10 or 11 years old, should I bite the bullet and fork out loads for a new machine (I fancy a Miele as my mum thinks they are the best ones)?
Thanks for any advice

The answer probably is that the memory chip controlling the programmes is fading out and it needs replacing - they can tell you and how much etc. Could be cheaper than new machine. Unless your mum is shelling out! Me I'd never get anything other then Bosch. But ask them first.
