getting carpets fitted next week and signed up to a 'pay nothing for 6 months' deal (allied carpets)

Casually speaking to the sales-lady I mentioned that I'll be saving up the amount within 6 months as not to incur any interest. She said there is no interest to pay- even in 6 months.

I've read and re-read the contract and payment plan and yes, it reads as 'pay nothing for 6 months and then pay 12 monthly instalments for the balance - no interest'

In my cynical mind that sounds to good to be true- how do they make money?

The interest is already included in the price of the carpet.
the company offering the credit will forever and ever bombard you will offers of other loans, and hope that they get you at a vulnerable time!
Allied Carpets pay the loan company £50 per sale.
