Just bought a new TV and have had to remove all wires and start again.
This is what is roughly at the rear regarding connevtors-
TV ,4 HDMI ports ,i scart and arilal socket,PHONO sockets
SKY box ,1 HDMI ,2 SCARTS ,PHONO sockets.
DVD player recorder ,2 scarts ,phono sockets ,NO HDMI
Surround box ,4 SCARTS ,various phono sockets

Any help would be great. It all worked with the old TV ,I've got SKY ok with the newTV,but nothing else .

Any help would be great

Sky box to TV using HDMI
DVD to TV using scart. (consider upgrading to either a blu ray player or an upscaling DVD player with a HDMI output)

Then assuming your TV has an optical audio output and the surround has an optical audio input I'd get an optical lead to connect the TV straight to the surround system.
