Hi all, I really hope someone can help me out, I've plugged my phone into my laptop to charge it up, it now has an image on the screen telling me its connected to Itunes (even when I unplug it). Itunes is telling me there is a problem with the phone and when I click on restore Iphone which is an option through Itunes, it goes through all the business and right at the end it says the Iphone cannot be restored due to an unknown problem. Can someone help please? I should add I'm not very technical minded so the easier explained would be brill lol, thanks xx

The Error***
well it's beyond me i can see lots of web sites referring to the error 9 prob.
i'd take it to one of the many Asian shops that unlock phones etc they will sort it out they've a lot more knowledge than the geeks who work in mobile shops eg Vodafone / o2 etc
Question Author
yes I think it will have to be, have tried many of the suggestions that have been mentionned on some of the websites with no luck, and i don't want to do much more, in case I do something that will void my insurance or warranty or something like that. Thanks for all the help though x

Just an update incase someone needs the information, I took the phone back to the shop and they replaced it as they couldn't find a solution to it, the guy said that if it happens again, it may be my usb port or firewall settings and to ring apple and they can go through how to adjust these settings if needs be. x
