In my mind .. a Geoffrey 'would' wear a home knitted jumper!! :0)
You don't really need a pattern for a scarf Tink... Just start knitting, get to the width you want and keep going x

When you've got the basics by knitting a few squares first - try this very easy cardigan pattern to download free.

I bought a cardigan in M&S the other day. It was £35 and made of merino wool (lovely and soft). I thought to myself 'I could knit this, why am I paying so much to buy it' so I found a pattern and then priced the wool. I would need 12 balls of wool each costing £2.99 (£35.88) and then there was the bother of knitting it. It just wasn't worth it. At the moment I am crocheting a cot blanket from scraps of wool left over from knitting baby cardigans, but it has to be a labour of love. I prefer crocheting to knitting - I consider it to be easier.
