Is it possible to remove an item that you have placed for sale on Ebay. I accidently placed an item on twice as I didn't realised it had worked the first time I tried. I now want to remove one of the listings and leave the other.

Great, thanks very much.
Just as a matter of interest.....would the second listing (that was removed) incur a listing fee, or would that fee be cancelled?

(Hope you don't mind this addition to your question, Styley).
you can contact ebay to say it was an error as already listing had worked so that they dont charge a fee. Some low start auctions dont incur a listing fee.
Thanks very much for reply.
You are likely to forfeit the listing fee.
Use the End My Listing Early form .. and be prepared to argue case with eBay.
Yes you do as suggested, and just mark "item no longer available" when you're asked why you are closing the sale early.

If you look at your account you may find that you have only paid a few pence for the initial listing - unless it's more, I would just let it go, and mark it down to experience.
You will not get the listing fee back but it is only 25p or so unless you have put loads of photos, just put up with it.
I know of a way you can put lots of photos on your listing - without paying - and it is (apparently) legit.

You put the photos onto the Photobucket website and then copy and paste them into your item description. It does work - I have done it a few times.

(Sorry to digress, Styley).
