Hi, I have a Hotpoint WF240 Aquarius washing machine and the drive belt from the motor to the drum has come off.Seems to be a simple repair but I can not see how to get the back off to get to it. The back seems to be one piece with the sides no back panel to remove any ideas ?

Tilt the washer forward and get someone to hold it steady. Put new belt round motor pulley first, then slip belt on drum pulley, and slowly turn drum by hand, feeding the belt on as you turn drum, be careful not to trap fingers, as it is very tight, this is normal, as the belt is a stretch type.

As above, though it's a lot easier with two pairs of hands, one underneath and one at the top...

That said, belts don't tend to come off for no reason so check the drum bearings are tight and have no play in them while you're at it.
