Passport delay

UK based resident going on holiday with children, remembers he now needs passports for them too .... panicks and hurriedly completes forms and sends them to the passport office ..... does anyone know how long passports are taking to turn around ... post office checked the details so I am hoping they are all completed properly. Thanks for all your help .... again

When I sent my childrens off a few weeks ago I was told that they would be with me in 10 working days. I started to panic after 12, but then there they were, after about 14 working days.

I'm sure ours came back around 10 working days after the details were sent off after being checked by the post office.

If you go on the UKPA website you can track your application to see how it's going.  Ours took less than two weeks.

Thanks everyone for your answers. I have a couple of months before I go so it appears I have plenty of time, I just remember the old days of six months waiting ..........
last summer it took 3 months to get mine and they lost my birth certificate.....
