Is silver still doing quite well?

I just realised i have two silver jewellery boxes...well im sure theyre silver? I think theyre designed to keep your silver jewelley clean or something. I could be wrong x

Are there Hall marks on them?

As Sandy says, it all depends on the hallmarks. If you can post a pic of the hallmarks, I'll see if I can identify them for you.

If selling for scrap, the weight is important.

Generally the price for silver is quite good at the moment.
