Poor Neti will be having nightmares .
Shall I post her a picture of a fish finger sandwich?
Oh my god, you lot are heartless!!

I am so tired today, no idea why. Am now in bed waiting for Corrie and eastenders. Mr N finished the Thai curry and I ate half an iberican sausage (salami, chorizo) pizza as I didn't want to cook. It was so windy this afternoon, I got really scared,so noisy, I just expected some disaster to fall from the skies, but fingers crossed OK so far. Right corrie's starting, bye....
tee hee Neti. I just had paella for tea and it was lovely. Rab had got a raw place on his chest no idea how he got it but he tears through gorse bushes like an idiot so not surprised. no walks for a couple of days while that heals.....He's a very good boy, Neti look away now

I discovered it because there was a tick embedded in the sore bit. He let me take it out and clean him up and have a look at it but had made his displeasure clear by taking himself off to bed.

Okay Neti you can come back now.
No problems with tics woofy, I am a dab hand at them.
oh ok, me too!
Don't like cockroaches or lizards.
don't mind lizards, really cannot stand cockroaches.....anyway beddy byes....oight oight all.
We love you really Neti .
I remember Shaney getting a tick .Nasty things .
It's been sloshing with rain here all evening .
Oight Oight ,sleep well .
oh yes, really hard work digging a lizard out of your skin, isn't it?

Well, I have my annual day at Lord's tomorrow as an old friend buys me a ticket, but it looks like rain. I have a proofreading job to do so I might take it with me. Then on Sunday orff to the Med for a week, still coughing but not so badly as a week ago. Heaven help me if I catch anything else on the flight.

Morning all...dull and chilly as per usual. I think Malta's comfortably warm isn't it so it'll do you the power of good jno. I can't believe it's cricket season, can you see the players in snow?

oooh, poor Rab, I hate tics... not that I've had one but Charlie did on one of his front legs. I didn't know until he started to limp. I took him to the vet and for about a fiver the nurse removed it and gave it a good clean. I didn't trust myself to do it and an infection would have cost a lot more.

Corrie's so daft at the moment neti...do you think Roy's dad's storyline has been crowbarred in to replace Ken's scenes? It seems a bit disjointed.

good morning all from the hospital for idiot dogs. One idiot dog has a scabbed over and healing raw hole on his chest about the size of a half p piece. No tearing through gorse for him till that is properly closed. Idiot dog two is limping slightly on one hind leg, again cause unknown, again said cause likely to be stupid behaviour. Again no tearing around in the forest for the next day or so.
Happily I have plans to go shopping in town tomorrow so they can get a ride and a hamburger instead of a walk.
For a change (and touching wood) the human element of the family is in one piece with no pain.
Ticks are a fact of life round here, the boys wear tick collars all summer. I had actually put them on them yesterday but have now removed them again as Rab's was very near his raw place.
Its a beautiful day here though and the freezer has icecream so we are going to lounge around today. Can't really go out because I am the anti stupididty supervisor.
I filled my posh new front plant troughs yesterday and finished my upcycled table lamp....will try and post pics later.

Beautiful day...ice cream?...then you really must be down under woofy. It's dull and cold here (rf 8C)
I haven't planted anything summery, I'm not bothering with much. I finally got around tuit yesterday and started sewing up the baby knitting, it won't be long now, about 4-5 weeks.
I'm glad it's a beautiful day somewhere because it isn't beautiful here.Just damp and dull .I hope your woofers will be alright Woofy .I have a picture in my mind now of you "supervising "them ....or are they supervising you :0)
Hope everyone's ok today and that you get some nice weather for the cricket Jno.
Good day to you all.

Yes ticks are an everyday occurance here too, had one on my bum way back in the 70's, but we ramble through the grass a lot!

Yes Robi am getting fed up with Corrie and Eastenders atm, Roy's storyline is ridiculous, just not Royish at all. Guess they are running out of actors, and Roy is leaving so no idea where he'll be going.

Lovely day here, cool but sunny and breezy. We all did the shopping, had brekkie in a cafe, unpacked and hija and I went to village for another coffee. There is a live group in the square, no idea why but can't be bothered to see it, not in dancing mood.

Have been looking for my summer sandals, found some in the storeroom but then Mr N dumped his van load on top of everything, so have been balancing on tubs of cement and taps and vacuum cleaners ,all the time avoiding geckos and lizards, to no avail! I am convinced they are in there somewhere, but will now have to empty out my huge top cupboards just to see if they are there. Had a lovely pair from Primark last year and they would be so comfy to wear...if only I could find them!!!
I eat icecream summer and winter....it was lovely here but has gone grey.
The icecream has gone grey woofy? check the flavour or the sell by date lol!!!
oh ha ha
I do love a bit of ice cream .But it doesn't love me :(
