Sending Jewellery to Australia

Is it ok to send silver or costume jewellery to Australia? (Just a small gift for my granddaughter).

I love a "99" when I am in England, but not too fussed with icecreams, I like plain ones in a plain cone; none of those sugary cones! We do buy choc ices on sticks here and keep in the freezer, and I have an occasional one.

Just done a huge pile of ironing, where does it all come from?

Did a huge shop this am, and still there's nothing for dinner!! It'll have to be carbonara!

I am a more is still not enough person. Waitrose do lovely specialist icecreams, so do Ben and Jerry, otherwise I make my own.... then add fresh fruit, sprinkles, Bailey's, gingersnap baskets......Bring it on!!

I just like ice creams with flavours, not with stuff in or on them. Black Doris Plum and Creme Fraiche is still my best this year.

Good morning.

Cooked hija an English fry-up as she is working at 9am - 5pm and the (lawd help up) partying at one of the opening parties which I dread, cos although she starts wortk tomorrow at 4pm it is doubtful that she'll be home much before that.

Nice and sunny outside, we've have Mr N's best friend coming over for 10days tomoorow but they stay in a friend's apartment as we have no room, that should mean a few bevvies and meals out! yummy!

G'day cobbers...has the billy boiled? I hardly dare say this but it's a lovely day so far, mild and sunny, I might round up some washing....life's sooo exciting innit? And yesterday I didn't have such a fluish feeling so maybe I'm slowly recovering. All I need now is a big moolah win on the lotto.

good morning. We are definitely convalescent today. Was considering going shopping and taking the dogs for a ride but they are happy to doze and it will save shughy having to jump in and out of the car so we have postponed till tomorrow.

.Ate paella today as we couldn't bebothered to go further afield, and it was truely scrummy, but too full of meat and shellfish for my liking, I just love the rice, the wine was extra delicious, now back in bed watching BGT, when the wifi allows!! Still quite chilly here, back in full pj's and feet are cold.

It's been lovely weather...it would have been lovelier if some twerp hadn't been jet washing his front drive allllll afternoon, brick by bl00dy brick. I'm tired and bit dizzy but it's not that flu feeling so I'll soldier bravely on, lol.
It's Chelsea flower show this week, hope the weather's good for them....bet you're excited eh neti? :)

It's clouded up now and turned chilly but it was mainly sunny and quite warm out the back here though looking on the webcam earlier hardly anyone on the beach .That east wind is still sharp out of the sun .
I've pottered in the garden a bit and got a lot of washing dry .
Time for cuppa tea and tele and the raspberry turnover that's been winking at me all day .
