Sending Jewellery to Australia

Is it ok to send silver or costume jewellery to Australia? (Just a small gift for my granddaughter).

I've (hopefully) done all I need to today, still feeling very 'half charged'...in fact I don't think my battery's been fully charged since 1989.

btw Jude I'm keeping my small blue bin. I don't need a bigger one, I don't make much recyclable rubbish, just a few rusty tins and rice krispie boxes....and I have to keep running the heating through too.

Just been out looking a t new mini ovens, nothing as good as my dead one? The grills only go round the top, I want a zigzag grill. Just making a meat and pot pie, hopefully my big dirty squeaky oven is still working. I was looking at new ones of those too, fpr 550€ Mr N could get both .

:-( summer has started, it is jolly warm and my bare feet burn on the outside tiles. The old big oven took forever to cook my pie, at least 3/4 hr, so hopefully the base will be well cooked. Kitchen is like hell, so hot even with doors open, and now in bedroom with fan going ready to continue with Brideshead...... it's so good.

Been quite nice here after an iffy start,warmish and sunny but I think there's rain on the horizon so my joints tell me .

Well, it looks as if I shall be joining jno for numerous dental appointments, implants, etc and reconstructive work. I shall need to take out a mortgage, but what I need they won't do on the NHS and I can't go on taking antibiotics for life.

Lovely day here and we sat outside the pub in Cley eating a roast beef dinner and then went walking with Meggie on Wiverton Downs where we sat on this very bench. Bliss!

Good evening all. I feelalot better today after on 6 tablets. Still going butnot so bad. also I'm eating anything and everything at the mo. Had a lovely lunch with one of my ladies what lunch. I had Chips!!and lovely ham that the lady slowly cooked with honey and something else, (I cant remember what) It was the best I've tasted for years. The menu said ham egg and chips but I had peasinstead of the eg. Great!
I'm now back to 3 proper meals a day instead of working out what I can and can't eat 10 minutes before I eat anything.
Anyway that'senough of tat.
Robi all the holes in our Close were filled in months ago and we have a notice up on a post saying that the road will be closed commencing yesterday for complete tarmacking. Of course they haven't turned up yet. So we're all waiting expectantly to be told tomove our cars.

Oh shaney how awful for you, mind you here we get excited it there's a bit of road to be seen, we are all holes.

My meat pie was delicious and actually cooked perfectly in the big oven, we had it with my fav cabbage. I had nicely asked Mr. N if I may have a new big cooker too, he's seems quite amenable to the idea at the mom, but tomorrow is another day! I had some ready made pastry but it was awful, wouldn't roll and all cracked but I managed to thumb it about the pie dish and then had to make my own "bung it " pastry (just bung in the ingreds and hope for the best, no measuring) but it was a bit thin and holes (haha) kept appearing so I just kept patching it up and sticking decorative leaves all over and it was teriffic.

Am on the last episode of Brideshead and really do not want to let go. Was there only ever one series?

I'm back.....Robi I'm keeping thebig blue bin cos I have lots of paper. I chuck all sorts in. I could put tissues in the brown bin so they'll go in and envelopes and all unwanted mail and leaflets too.
I've got one small pile of the old fence panels to get rid of so if I don't take them to the tip they'll go in the next brown bin collection.
The sun is still shining on the front of my house.My bedroom is on the front and it'salways warm in there when I go up to bed. When it's really hot I have to close the blinds during the afternoon.

I'm off to watch Spring watchin a while and wash the pots. Hope you all have a good night. Oight Oight All!

hello all. We went shopping then went down to the sea and watched the ships and ate cherries. the boys love cherries and strawberries. I have also gone through a huge box of filing and almost finished sorting it into categories. Its a job i LOATHE so I had chocolate while I was doing it. Shaney go and put your spade away.
