Do you think it should be obligatory to award a best answer?

I don't know how it would work but it's really irritating when people say,'Thanks all.' Having said that I do it myself. Doh!

Yes. I lost a Quick on the Draw badge once when somebody changed their mind about their best answer.
(Or was it because I'd chosen myself as best answer?)

And another thing that's irritating is when you ask someone a question and they don't bother to answer it!
