I've just steam cleaned my oven racks, door etc. However, the bottom of the oven is thick with charcoal stuff (yuck, I know - I'm not very regular at oven cleaning!).
Does anyone have any suggestions which would remove the stubborn stuff on the bottom? Thanks!
Sorry to butt in, but thanks boxy, I'll try that to see if it will loosen the cover of the bulb that needs replacing but don't want to break said cover
On the very rare occasions I do mine, Mr Muscle oven cleaner is good for really hard burnt on stuff. For everything else, I just slosh a bit of water on it, spray it with Mr Muscle kitchen cleaner and leave it for about half an hour. Any stubborn bits that won't come off I usually do with one of those little wire scourers, but don't scrub too hard with one of those!
Lakeland also do their own oven cleaner which is good too but Oven-Pride wins hands down for me. I used to have a company come and steam-clean my oven but I can get a better result myself.
Well Mazie.....I pop in to give my oven cleaning/bulb removing tip....using just a small amount of dynamite and what do I find?! Boxy and Sibton!!!!
As if anything could go wrong. ;-)
