The 2001 figures, in thousands of metric tonnes:-

China 2,661;  India 701;  Brazil 568; USA 450; Turkey 260;  Zimbabwe 175; Indonesia 147; Italy 132; Greece 130;  Malawi 120;  Pakistan 103; Argentina 101.

I would suspect that the Zimbabwe figure is now suspect because of the political situation.
