Answerbank Etiquette

Hi. I joined this site this afternoon with a question in home and gardens then had a look around the site and realised its a bit more than just a question and answer site so i might pop in from time to time. I'm not sure if you need or are expected to introduce yourself or you just get on with it. Anyway, hello! and hope I may be able to answer a few questions soon, though my knowledge is limited to self-sufficiency,gardening,animals and cooking. I suppose I could be described as an ageing hippy as this was my era and so glad it was. I've brought a bottle or three of last years Elderflower wine, some homemade honey and oat bread with a side of homemade fresh goats cheese and pickle, and some Vegan flapjacks (yes I'm one of those irritating people who do not eat animals) . Help yourselves!

It's up to you whether you want to introduce yourself, some do and some dont. It is entirely up to you.
Best place is Chatterbank - that's where the inane chatter goes on. The other sections are reserved (rightly so) for more serious Q and A topics.
Enjoy.
(PS, it helps if you bring cake too, for B00 - she's the scary one).

Welcome!
It's a fair assortment of different folks here, a sizable bunch of regulars and a few not so regulars. I tend to post in 'bouts', give it a break, post sporadically or not at all. Nice to see an aging hippie here!
I'll take a bit of flapjack if that's ok - now what's your favourite incense? Mine's Golden Nagchampa (Goloka) :-)
