Tv Turning Back On

Since having sky plus connected my tv turns back on, not every time, perhaps twice a week. Does anyone have any ideas on what I may be doing wrong.

I assume it's turning itself on from standby. Is the remote control stuck down the settee or somewhere else? Have you got a cat or dog running round the house that could put a paw on it? If so switch it off at the mains.
