Does anyone know a real good You Tube tutorial on how to start selling on E- Bay? And why are there many differences from one E bay site to another? e.g. Ebay.com, EBay.co.uk or Ebay.ie ?

ebay.com is the USA site eBay.co.uk is the UK site.
If you put an item on eBay uk and use the international listing option it will show on all eBay sites worldwide. You can specify that you will not post to particular countries on the listing.
There are eBay site all over the world but eBay.co.uk and eBay.com are by far the largest.
There is a good tutorial available on the eBay home page , go to 'site map' scroll right the bottom of the page introduction page and them look for eBay tutorial.

I saw a large book in I think Sainsburys the other day, in the newspapers / magazine section.

Called something like How to sell on ebay.

This one is ok but it is eBay,com USA , very nearly the same as ebay uk though.

It is fairly easy to get started even without a tutorial. Once you are registered and in the my ebay area click on sell. Put in a few words of what it is like mens shirt, and it will suggest a category to sell it in. Choose the best category from list.
Make up a good title of what you are selling and follow the drop down offerings like size, material, style etc.
Upload up to 12 photographs free of charge and edit them if necessary within the ebay uploader.
Write what you want to say about what you are selling.
Choose if auction or buy it now and put in start price for the auction or the buy it now if that is what you want to do.
How many days out of 3, 5, 7 or 10.
How much you will charge for postage.
How many days will you dispatch in
and thats it.
I just plunged in and you get better with time.

Agree with grass...plus, ebay walks you through posting an item to sell..

I find a really good photo is absolutely essential , it is the difference between getting multi bids and not selling the item.

By far the easiest way to learn all about the ins and outs of ebay is to buy a book. I bought one a few years ago (Canadian version) and found it to be of enormous help.
