The same programme in each room,if so is there a way to watch SKY in ONE room and watch a programme recorded on SKY in the other.

Sky has to be connected to each room you watch it in. You need to pay for multi-room if you want to watch different things in each room. Not sure about recording- it's a sky plus feature, i think.
