Aerial Solution Required
I have a 60 plate Chevrolet Aveo 1.2. I recently moved house and for the first time in my life I have a garage to keep it in. To my dismay, the apparently fixed aerial on the roof of the car hits the garage door and when reversing out, it bends right back then whacks the car roof once I am out.
I have tried using sticky tape to hold it down until I am out but it is making a mess of the paintwork.
Can anyone suggest a solution or know if there is a way I could shorten or remove the aerial and replace it with a short one? I have had to stop going in there for the time being but desperately want to put it in there in winter!
Thanks.

According to this thread, you can remove the aerial base from inside the car: http:// www. aveoforum. com/ forum/ f83/ antenna- 10225/ You could then replace it with any suitable aerial from a motor spares shop or consider the viability of something such as this:...
