Bought Mini Boo some transfer paper along with what now seems my weekly stationary buying session today (she's a ferocious drawer!), and it seemed a good idea, until she asked me how to transfer the copied drawing back onto paper so she could colour/decorate it....and I was stumped!

I know the answer so's simple, but can't figure it out!

Help us please:-)

When you trace, use a softish pencil - the flip the paper over and go over again on your clean sheet of paper, that will transfer a pencil outline on the new sheet.

If it's anything like tracing paper I used as a child, turn it over and rub a pencil over the outline - you need to use a soft pencil ie HB to make initial outline

She's just about to put that theory to the test Mamya, dunno whether the pencil's soft or not but she's giving it a practice as we speak.

It worked!

Ta mamya and tony wish I could give you both BA, but I've gone with the first answer given.

To tell is a pencil is soft try jabbing it into your thigh. If it bends it's soft; if it goes down to the bone, it's hard.
It's just with a softer pencil you get more to transfer if you understand me.
Try that in WH Smiths and you may get arrested OG.
Boo mama as most are quicker Tyler's lol

Like I said, dunno whether they're soft pencils or not, they're a bunch of cheapo ones bought from local Poundshop, lol.
And typers lol

Sorry Tony, don't understand that?
B00, if mini Boo doesn't mind, lining paper is good for drawing on and it's a lot cheaper then proper drawing paper.
How old is your daughter? I buy discounted rolls of wallpaper for around 50p each and cut into sheets for the grandlittles; also the insides of cereal boxes and anything else that can drawn and painted on.
