Excel - Help With Formula Needed
3 Answers
I know there are some clever computer bods on here so hopefully someone can help me. I have a list of text in column A, and a Yes or No in column B. I have a formula that if you answer Yes in colum B,it copies the text that is in column A and pastes it into another cell. The only trouble is that the paste text starts every word with a capital letter. So for instance if column A says 'The cat in the hat', when it is paste into the new cell it comes out as 'The Cat In The Hat'. Does anyone know of a way round this is so the text is paste exactly as I typed it in column A?
The formula I am using is =IF(Subject!B15="Yes",PROPER(Subject!A15),"")
So if it says Yes in cell B15 it will copy the text that is written in A15 and paste this text into another cell. 'subject' is the name of the sheet in the workbook where the original text I want to copy is written.
Any ideas?
Many thanks

Remove PROPER? That's what is does, give words with initial caps.
