I would agree with the above posts. All those years ago when I was learning to drive, despite being less than 2 years old, the clutch on my car was failing – as a result of the slipping clutch it was very forgiving as to when you took your foot of the clutch pedal. She has got used to the old clutch that would have had a lot more 'travel' before it engaged. The new clutch will 'bite' when the pedal is a lot nearer the floor than the old one. ie less 'travel'
the new clutch is bound to feel totally different because its working properly, she will get used to it after a couple of hours. if the old clutch was worn out she probably couldn't have stalled it if she tried

All those years ago when I was learning to drive, despite being less than 2 years old, the clutch on my instructor’s car was failing – as a result of the slipping clutch it was very forgiving as to when you took your foot of the clutch pedal.

Once repaired, skill was required to get the engine revs and biting point just right, otherwise you were sure to stall the engine.

She'll get used to it in the same way as she was used to the old one.
