Ipad Problems

Please help!!! Ive reluctantly upgraded my ipad to the latest version...8.something by error if the truth be known...anyway since doing so ALL my tabs at the top of websites being viewed has turned a black colour with a hazy grey font which is really hard to read. Any chance anyone knows how i can change this to something brighter in colour? I hate these uogrades, was quite happy the way it was before......?????

Its not because of the upgrade. You've accidentally switched on private mode in Safari. Open Safari, at the top right of the page is a double square icon, touch that, in a white box at the top of the page you will see Private, touch that, then touch Done, top right and you should be back to normal

Thank you milvus!!!! Soooooooo....next question lol, why would you have private ticked as on? Is this so no one can see what youve been searching etc? Just curious now....not really technically mindedha ha

Yes, exactly that. Websites can't check your activity, load cookies for tracking etc. None of your search, internet activity is saved on your computer.
