dave was asked this question 6 times, very politely indeed, by the Leader of the Opposition. His unwillingness to answer speaks volumes. Given that he and Gove promised that they wouldn't cut tax credits before the Election,
I would suggest that even if he had given an answer today, that it is doubtful whether he could be trusted to keep his word.

The extract from the interview is 2 mins long, but the denial that a future Tory Government would NOT cut tax credits is right before the end.
Of course, we can't always believe politicians but when they say one thing and then do the opposite, then I think it only fair that they should be judged on he consequences.
If both dave and Gove had said, quite clearly in the run-up to the May 7th, that they WERE going to cut tax credits, then, as so many millions of people rely on them, its unclear whether they would still have won the Election.
