If it's the original radio that came with the car, phone Vauxhall direct.

Usually, the agent for the marque wants 25 to 30 to get you the code.  They seem to be held on a database to which this place has access:

http://www.wigancars.co.uk/

(unless its a Delco CDR 500).  Good service and it will cost you 9.95.  Good luck!

I got one from the Vauxhall main dealer for the car I had about three years ago. They need the serial number of the radio and the car's chassis number (IIRC), but it was only about 3.
Hold on a minute guys - we havn't established wether Rainbowlips isn't in possession of the code yet!  You may find the radio code in the instruction manual for the radio - if you have it.  If not it may be worth checking inside any other documentation that came with the car i.e. handbook and service manual.  Somtimes the code is printed on a card and this may have been slipped inside one of these.  If not the please follow the advice already given.  You can buy CD's from Ebay relevant to your radio that have the codes on too.  Be mindfull though that if you havn't got the radio's instructions once you have the code you still need to know which keys you need to press to enter it as it's not always obvious. Good luck.
Amazed at 3 !!!  Last week there was someone berating Renaul over this matter, and my own experience is limited to Peugeot.  Perhaps it's a French thing??  Also in my experience, the code is often lost on secondhand cars, but sometimes it has been written on the top of the radio after you withdraw it.  The site I suggested also has instructions for entering the code.  Good luck!

tony1941 but, as usual, bunch of moneygeneratingdivs.

Jay70, you are right to question if I have the code. Well...I thought I did cus I kept all originall documentation in the car...but...me four digit number didnt work cus it had doubt six at the end that would not register on display.

Poo, still perplexed and still singing to myself cus I aint gonna let the big boys make even more money out of us!

the code wasn't usually in the manual on vauxhalls but on a card shaped like a credit card called the car pass it included all the security info for vehicle like key numbers, radio code etc. If you can find that you've cracked it i think vauxhall charge 10-15 for retrieving the info if you have misplaced it. good luck
