Just finished watching this - hard to follow. Who was Esther? I know she was John Swans first girlfriend and her name was in the cast list, but whereabout was she in the story? i dont recall seeing her.  Also, if Jericho has held a grudge about his father's death at the hands of Peter Bowles, he must have been sat swinging that fob watch and having flashbacks for 40 years! He could only have been 10 in the flashback and must be nearing 50 now. How many times do we need to see the men breaking down the door and shooting his dad? We get the message.
