been having this problem for months, sometimes it will charge to 100 percent. then like now only 45 percent and its been on for hours. is there anything to be done or do i buy another phone.
Do you turn it off when you charge it? That could help as it won't be using the battery at the same time.
Check all the connections are pushed right in.
If you usually charge it via USB connected to your pc, try charging it from the mains
I once had a phone which did this. I was advised to let it go totally flat each time before I charged it and that seemed to work very well. Try that before you go to the expense of a new battery or, worse still, a new phone.
Not a plug/socket problem is it ? Every since some idiot opted to lose the charging socket and overwork the data socket as dual use it seems common that eventually you don't get a good connection every time. If it is the connection try pulling the lead forward or back as that sometimes improves contact. Failing that a new lead can help.
the battery is less than 1 year old so it should not be that.
have turned off the phone whilst charging and its up to 92 percent, but doesn't want to go that extra 8 percent for some reason.
