Manually Turning On A Toshiba Tv
2 Answers
The on/off button on my remote control for the TV is wearing out so I would like to turn my TV on/off manually.
I can turn it off ok manually but turning it on, ugh! Facing the TV there is a red light underneath the screen on the right and is on all the time when TV is off when I turn the TV on with the remote control this light goes green and TV comes on - no problem, when I turn it off I use the manual button on the side (button shows as a circle with a line going from top of circle to centre of circle) and this works fine.
My problem is trying to turn the TV on manually with the same button circle button with line through it. A green light shows along side the red light and then the green light just goes out. I really need to turn the red light green.
Can someone tell me ( and please talk down to me!:-)) how I can get the TV to do this?
