Sitting in the cinema
6 Answers
Ok, I don't know anyone who actually does this, so I was hoping someone here can enlighten me:
Why do some people site right at the front of the cinema? I mean in the front seats? Why? How on earth can they possibly see the screen properly without ending up with neck pain and sore eyes?!
Its annoyed me for years, please someone explain how it's done!!

We have neve been so uncomfortable in all our lives. Bearing in mind we are not teenagers, (not implying that they do not know how to sit) we ended up with our necks on the back of the seats to be able to see and it was a bit close when the dinnasaurs were running across the screen. Never again.
I sit in the front row too. I like the whole thing same as AndyH. The only other person I know who used to sit right up in the front was Francois Truffaut.(sp?). He, like me, liked nothing in the way of him and the movie.
Was great for matrix films, the bullet time and everything was fab, Worst was lord of the rings, it was such a dark screen, it was difficult to differentiate things.
Little bit scary sometimes though.
