I have a weed growing in my back garden (uk) but struggling to identify it.. They are leafy (mossy?). They are deep rooted but also grow horizontally across the surface of the grass like viney. They are very difficult to remove. Any idea what this weed is?

I thought you were a gardener :-) It's knotweed and bindweed but they are both large or climb. I agree you need to give far more of a description ilmb, are they low down in with the grass or what?

The mossy description leads me to suspect pearlwort or perhaps knotgrass.
