Nothing on the calendar for today, but plenty to do around here. I could sit out in the sun and sharpen the kitchen knives. Such fun I have!

a friend passed during the night
he took early retirement end of march
we worked together for over 30 years

he was so looking forward to it

Morning all, phew what a day yesterday what with the photographer in, gardening, starting the lounge clearance, the vintage women in to look at the clothing and then picking this friend up from hossie and running her back home (in Falmouth).

The car goes in for its first service today, then the vintage people are back here to pick up what they are taking and also the room mapping man for the agent. Another quiet start to the day then....the garden also beckons as to weed-killing and more strimming - if this rain at the moment stops.
