I have sold an item on eBay and my buyer's address is given as Manchester with an SK postcode. Ebay is suggesting // Warning: the shipping address City (Manchester) may be wrong. We think it should be Cheadle, Heald Green. Change it for me. \\
When I go to Change it for me I get a message saying // You may not be covered by the eBay Seller Protection Policy if you send to a different address. Learn more. \\
Clicking on Learn More tells me I won't be covered by eBay Seller Protection.
I give up. What do I do? Is there any other way to sort it other than contacting the buyer which I don't really want to do? I'm wondering if anyone else has dealt with this problem. Thank you.
If you sold the item, log in to PayPal and check the address the payment came from and that's the address you must send the item to if you want to be covered by the EBay/PayPal guarantee.
just address it to the postcode? It doesn't matter whether it's Manchester or Mandalay, the postcode and the house number are all that's needed for delivery.
Cheadle is Greater Manchester so not a millon miles out in terms of correct address. Just send to the address you were given by the buyer who wants to be in Manchester and not Cheadle, even though it might not be 100% correct. it'll get there OK.

Thanks everyone. I'll send it to the post code given. It's the same on PayPal as eBay so buyer's fault if there is a problem which there won't be. Bless you all. xx
